Birding Is The World Brazil for Women, in a mission of empowering female birdwatchers from all over the world. Birding is the World is a company that takes birdwatchers to Brazil and some parts of South America regardless of gender, race, ethnicity and class. Although our clientele is very mixed, what we are very proud of is that there has been an increase in the number of women who want to go birdwatching with other women alone. The birdwatching world is still dominated by men, but this seems to be changing, giving way to many women who are dominating the field. According to the Audubon Society, 42% of birdwatchers in the United States are women. With this increase, there has also been a need for a group of women only who want to go birdwatching over seas. Many women, despite many achievements, still feel intimidated by the presence of men in the field. Many women claim that their knowledge is not recognized or underestimated, or even criticism about their lifer list, which brings many down and sometimes, believe me, giving up on birding. With all this change, we decided to create Birdings is the World Brazil for Women with the aim of empowering female birdwatchers from all over the world. Our initiative is just beginning, but it has been very successful. Join us and be part of this family that grows more and more each year. Our next women-only tour will take place in the heart of the Amazon Rainforest in August 2025 and as last year it will be amazing. Click the button to learn more!
